Koh Tao's leading underwater
videography course training centre. DDP has been filming,
producing and showing unique underwater
video's for over 10 years. Using the latest 3 CCD technology
and HD1080i video cameras combined with a variety of underwater
video housing systems including Ikelite, Gates, Amphibico HD
and Light & Motion we aim to give our customers the best
equipment for their needs.
Our philosophy as a videography company
is ‘to encourage personal development & creativity’ when
we create movies we provide more than just a "product",
we support our staff to use their own creative inputs to produce
high quality movies. As a team who's specialized fields include film production, video animation,
music production, sound engineering we each bring our own
skills into the development of our work. Thus creating not
just a "movie" but an experience.
All the videography crew
have trained and where certified in the Pro videography course as well as our internship
program . Along with their own areas of expertise and
training from DDP they have every skill required to film,
produce and edit any movie you require.
We have recently had the pleasure of filming and producing a promotional film for a UK based dive centre. The video will be used to promote technical diving to experianced recreational divers. On the dives we had Debbie and Stuart, both filming in AVCHD and 1080i, 3 divers for the film, the edit is taking shape and has a show date of 1st September 2010. We will also me making some short promos for crystal xtreme and crystal tech in the coming weeks.

Today Crystal Dive Resort took one of their boars out for a double dive at one of Thailand's Premiere Dive sites - Chumphon Pinnacle, Videographers were on the Boat Shooting stock in Hi Definition 1080i format, as well as footage for new promotional material for a variety of local and international partners.
New dive students from Crystal Dive Resort were just completing their last two training dives in their Open Water Diver course and were lucky enough to encounter a banded sea snake. Internship videographer Laetitia was on the dive and captured some nice footage of this fascinating sea krait.
Other videography trainees are having a few days off diving to concentrate on editing show reels for the next film festival. Dates coming soon.
We have just had another very successful showreel evening and BBQ at Dirty Nellies Irish bar for two new film makers. Nir & Ayelet finished their Underwater Video Training recently and worked hard on the showreels which really showed in the final results. These showreel evenings are a great way to finish of the courses expecially after all the time, effort and hard work that each trainee puts into their course. We feel that each students deserves to finish off their training in style by playing their final movies at an event such as this.
